Terms of Service

UIXColors is free to use for personal and commercial projects. All outputs you generate belong to you. Please read these terms before using the Service.
By accessing or using UIXColors ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use UIXColors.
UIXColors is a free, browser-based suite of design tools for UI/UX designers and developers. The Service includes tools for color system design, style guide extraction, color conversion, accessibility checking, gradient creation, palette extraction, QR code generation, and image downloading.
The Service is provided free of charge. No account registration is required to use any of the tools. We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue features at any time.
Subject to these Terms, UIXColors grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use the Service. This license permits you to:
- Use all tools for personal and commercial design projects
- Use all generated outputs — color palettes, style guides, gradients, QR codes, exported code — in any project without attribution
- Share, sell, or incorporate tool outputs into client deliverables, software products, or published work
All outputs are yours.
UIXColors claims no ownership over any color palette, style guide, gradient, QR code, or other output you generate using the Service. You own your creative work.
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Extract style guides or download assets from websites you do not own or do not have explicit permission to inspect
- Circumvent any technical measures or rate limits on our proxy endpoints
- Attempt to access, disrupt, or damage any systems, networks, or data related to the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Automate or script large volumes of proxy requests that could constitute abuse of the Service
- Republish, sell, or sublicense the UIXColors platform itself (as opposed to the outputs you generate)
The UIXColors name, logo, brand identity, website design, and underlying source code are the intellectual property of UIXColors and its contributors. You may not reproduce, imitate, or repurpose these brand elements without written permission.
All outputs generated through the Service — including color palettes, exported CSS, QR codes, gradients, and style guides — are owned by you, the user. UIXColors makes no claim over user-generated content.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UIXCOLORS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Color accuracy may vary across displays and output formats. Always verify WCAG compliance with your own testing for critical accessibility use cases.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UIXCOLORS AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN ALL CASES, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS ($0) GIVEN THAT THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.
We aim to keep UIXColors available around the clock but make no guarantee of uptime or availability. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, apply updates, or take the Service offline temporarily without advance notice. We will not be liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from such downtime.
The Site Style Guide Extractor and Image Downloader tools make requests to external websites on your behalf. UIXColors:
- Acts only as a proxy and does not endorse or control external website content
- Is not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or availability of any external website
- Does not store or retain any content fetched from external websites
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to inspect or download assets from any website you enter into these tools.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction of competent courts, depending on applicable law in your territory.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, please stop using the Service.
